New adult Sunday morning Class focused on Parenting
The topic of Parenting generates many opinions and there are no books in which
everyone fully agrees.

  • Our purpose is to help parents look into scripture, discuss with other parents, and allow God to be the author of how you should parent your
    children.
  • This group will begin with insights from Shepherding a Child's Heart  by Ted Tripp. Written for parents with children of any age, this
insightful book provides perspectives and procedures for shepherding your child's heart into the paths of life. Shepherding a Child's Heart gives fresh
biblical approaches to child rearing.  Many parenting books are based on hit-or-miss theories steeped in secular thinking. This one draws from Pastor
Tripp's seasoned experience as a father-and from God's Holy Word. This guide defines goals parents may select and provides the Scriptural methods for accomplishing them.  Plan to follow up with other parenting studies if the group wishes.
  • The ultimate responsibility of parenting is yours as a parent.  This ‘roller coaster’ experiences is made easier by sharing and
praying with others desiring to guide their families.
  • Class begins Sunday April 6, at 10:30 in
    the Fellowship Hall room 33
    .

Leaders will be Emily and Philip Manderson.  This first book can be
purchased on Amazon for $11.36, but it is not a requirement to
    participate in the class sessions
