From One of Our Own:
The Lord has really been doing amazing
things here in East Asia in the first three
months of our year here. Our team has shared the Gospel with
several people and we have seen 10
national students make decisions to make Christ the Lord of their
lives. A men’s Bible study has also
already developed, which is relatively early compared to
years past. It started with only two nationals and has grown
to six in a matter of weeks (with one of
their girlfriends becoming Christian as well). These guys have been
very excited to share the good news with
their friends. It has been very encouraging to see
them grow and share their newfound faith with others. Hearing
someone pray in another language is pretty
eye-opening. It has opened my eyes to how big God’s love is for us;
not just Americans but the whole world, for those who know
Him and for those who do
not. Please continue to pray for this Bible study and that more
people will be added to the family.
Going Where the People Are
What a humbling and awesome privilege it
was to partner with Kingdom Life Church in Lansing, Michigan Labor
Day weekend! It was amazing to see God working in the midst of an
area far from the Bible belt. Lansing is an area that has been
significantly affected by the down turn in the economy. In spite of
the difficult circumstances ,the congregation of Kingdom Life has
dedicated itself to reaching people for Jesus in their community. It
was a joy to work with such a hardworking group. The experience has
encouraged our family to look for other ways here to share God's
love and message.

The Lord had said to Abram, "Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father's family, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. 3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you."
Through our mission experiences our desire is that you personally experience the Lord by going to a land to which He will lead you. That land may be right where you live, at your job or going on a journey to other places in the world. There are so many people all across the world that need to hear the good news of Jesus. God wants you to join Him in blessing others. So come join the fun in experiencing God and be on Mission wherever He takes us.
Remember: "Go and Make disciples" Matthew 28:19-20 and to "be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere," Acts 1:8
