An
interview with What is your most vivid memory as a child? My adoption at the age of six weeks old and hearing people say that I look like my mother and father growing up, as well as I act like my father. What is a favorite tradition at Christmas? Hanging of the Christmas stockings at the fireplace and looking at the memories that each one brings throughout the year. What sports or hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time? I love to be outdoors, hiking, yard work - and I love to snow ski (as well as many other sports), but most of all I love spending time with our children. What is something that would surprise us about you? I have delivered three of our children with the help of a mid-wife and been at all thirteen births. What do you love most about Mary Jo? Her beautiful smile, her faith and practical application of God’s word every day is a joy to see and hear. How did you come to know Christ? A co-worker invited me to an evening service at her church. As I listened and understood, I realized that I was separated from the Lord and if I were to die, I would spend eternity separated from the Lord. So that night I asked the Lord to be the center of my life and committed that I would follow Him from that day forward. What were your best and worst subjects in school? Geography was my favorite subject and science was my least favorite. How did you enter the ministry? God called me into the ministry when I was actively serving Him in my local church. God kept putting godly men and opportunities to know and serve Him in my life. Seeing the faith of these men at all ages and encouragement from Mary Jo inspired me through these experiences with the Lord and listening to the Bible Studies and messages. It was during an invitation at church that I was called to the ministry at the age of 29. Tell us about your pets. Little dog, Honey, a mixed terrier. What is your favorite?
