ESL Training for volunteers

Training is July 31 from 1pm - 8pm and August 1 9am-4pm. You will receive a certification (you must attend all 12 hours to be certified). You will learn and receive all the tools to serve in ESL ministry. Dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday will be provided.

About the Event
Two years ago, our church started an ESL ministry with two purposes: To Serve the needs of our community and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ within our community. This ministry has been a blessing to our church; we have seen professions of faith being made and people being baptized from the ESL ministry. Because of God’s grace and the faithfulness of church members who serve by teaching these classes, we have an opportunity to reach people and make disciples every Wednesday night through our ESL ministry.
However, we need more volunteers to teach ESL classes. You don’t have to be a teacher or know any other Language than English to serve in ESL ministry. We are providing this training so that volunteers can be trained in how to reach people using their own language as a tool to proclaim Jesus Christ as the only Lord and Savior.
