Thank you for taking time to check out First Baptist Church. We hope that making it this far means that we will get to meet you soon. We aren’t a flashy church. In fact, our mission is quite simple; to reach people and make disciples. We want the community around us to know Jesus. That is why everything we do points to Him.
WHAT TO EXPECT
What should I wear?
There is no need to dress up. FBC is as diverse as the area that surrounds it so come dressed to make yourself at home!
Where should I go?
When you arrive look for the blue welcome flags on Church Street at the welcome center entrance. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and pointed in the right direction.
How long will it last?
The service should last about sixty minutes and is sure to challenge you and leave you feeling inspired.
FIRST STEPS
We've done our best to answer any questions you may have on this page. When you're ready to learn more, we offer the First Steps class every 6 weeks. This class is open to everyone and there is no commitment to join the church. Email Seth King at sking@fbcdecatur.org to sign-up.
