At First Baptist Church our mission is simple - reach people and make disciples. We desire to see the nations reached. Through various partnerships all around the world, our church is able to be the hands and feet of Jesus in particular cities, states, and countries where God has enabled us to do His work. We long to live as a people who are sent on mission for the sake of the advancement of God's kingdom!

Boston, Massachusetts
Students Summer Mission Trip – July 11-18. Students will serve various ministries in the Boston area through light construction and ministry to people in the area.
Vision Trip – Adults – TBD, October. Learn more about church planting in the Boston area and how you can support our partners there.
New Orleans, Louisiana
We’re planning to serve our church partner, Thomas Johnson and Centered Church in worship and at the Freret Street Festival. Dates: TBD (Friday – Sunday).
Selma, Alabama
Multiple opportunities to serve Imago Dei Church, working events or helping lead worship. All dates are TBD, weekend only.
Birmingham, Alabama
March 20-21, $150
Serve with several other churches working alongside our church-planting partner, Jacob Simmons and Hope Community Church as they prepare for Easter.
Oaxaca, Mexico
Adults – August 15-22, $2,250
Minister with our newest mission partners, Jeff and Liesa Holeman sharing Bible stories, prayer walking, and hosting community events on this IMB-sponsored trip.
College Students – December 12-19, $2,250
Like the trip described above but focused on engaging college students at Benito Juarez University through events and Bible studies.
Sevierville, Tennessee
Carpenters for Christ, May 14-21
Serving at all levels of construction on a ministry center. Put your hands to work on the building or in an important support role.
Morgan County
Middle School & High School Local Mission Trip – June 23-25, $70
Serving with fellow students at the Boys & Girls Club at Oak Park.
Family Mission Trip – Dates, TBD, summer, $30 (for supplies etc.). Open to all ages, with a flexible schedule. One of our most popular trips in 2025.

Yes, YOUR TRIP. For decades, some of our most impactful mission trips have originated from our members: Belize, Haiti, Calvary Love (Liberia), and our Family Mission Trip. If there’s a place you feel called to but don’t know how to get there, contact Matt.
